Who Won the Internet
Thought I’d get this out before Friday!
Guys, I went down a rabbit hole. Thanks to a podcast, I was “introduced” to the Pop It Pimple Popper toy. Toy? Ok…
A handful of my Facebook friends will post these pimple popping videos and I block all of them. I do not find this appealing at all. If you or someone you know love those videos, this may be a great gag gift.
Rachel Hollis
Melissa urged me to watch Rachel Hollis’ Made for More documentary last month. Like, I paid for a babysitter and movie tickets and dinner. (Do you know how rare it is that all of these things can happen on a weeknight, at the last minute?) I’m really glad I went. This is not something revolutionary but the film was a fantastic reminder that YOU WERE MADE FOR MORE. I knew nothing about Rachel Hollis, except she had a motivational book out. I don’t do well with motivational books. (Look at my GoodReads – they’re mostly DNF.) So, a movie? No problem.

September is my birthday month. I am raising money via the good ol’ Facebook for House of Ruth. House of Ruth is a local organization that helps domestic violence survivors. If you are in the LA area, it is located in the IE.
Old news but I haven’t posted one of these in a long time so there’s that:
- Crazy Rich Asians shut out Marky Mark and his funky bunch at the box office.
- The Wife made me watch To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before on Netflix. I loved it so much, I watched it again. This movie should have been released in movie theaters. It would have made so much money!
- The Wife also made us go watch Searching with John Cho. Again, so good! I’m not a fan of thrillers or missing people because my mind usually goes to murder and rape. Go if you can find it in movie theaters.
Yup.
