Our last hurrah is coming up soon, aka. Pre-Spawn Bonanza! I intend to stay active on this trip: standup paddleboarding (SUP), snorkeling, and floating. I’ve been researching maternity swimsuits for our trip and here are my picks!
My main criteria was support. These boobs are turning into milk jugs, and teeny string bikini tops don’t do jack. The second criteria for me was that these were two-piece swimsuits. No one wants to run to the bathroom, hopping up and down, trying to pull a one-piece down to your knees to pee. You know you’ve done that dance before.Â
Liz Lange for Target: Maternity Halter Racerback Two-Piece (Target)Â
There’s plenty of material to cover the belly as well as a racerback to keep the boobs up and supported. The price is great – $24.99 for the top, $19.99 for the bottom. I have a couple of other Liz Lange items, and they are pretty and durable. For this price, I’m hard-pressed not to pick this up!
Maternal America: Ruched Tankini Swimsuit (Nordstrom)
This two-piecer is available online only at Nordies. The side ruching is my fave as well as the high back support. However you may want to skip it as your belly may be exposed if you’re not into it. Me? I don’t care. My baby bubble can use a tan.
Seraphine: Halterneck Tankini (Amazon)
Halter-top tie around the neck pulls the top up for support. I like the separation for each boob as no one should experience uni-boob. This is another high back which helps. Plus it’s red! (But the model looks… I dunno. She looks like she’s in pain.)
Prego: Solid Ruched Maternity Bikini (Amazon)
The bottom sold me! You can pull it up and go high-waisted or pull it under the belly. The top is also great because it’s cut fully. I can’t see the back of it so I don’t know if it’s tie or hook. I’m seeing a flattering trend on ruching for pregnant ladies.
Motherhood Maternity: Racerback Tankini (Amazon)
One more for the racerback fans! The price is comparable to the Liz Lange. The bottom fits under the belly which is great for a swimsuit. The tank also looks long enough to fit all stages of pregnancy. I bet I could wear this to yoga too.
Oh Baby by Motherhood: Polka-dot Halterkini & Skirtini Set (Kohl’s)
How cute is this? I admit, this is the girliest of the list. If you’re not a fan of showing a ton of leg, this may be the one for you! I’m a fan of stripes and polka dots so I’m all over it. This also ties around the neck so you can pull up your top for more support. Best of all, it’s currently on sale for $35.99!
So there you have it! What suits am I missing? Do you have a favorite maternity swimsuit?

Wow those are all really cute options! I’d totally go with polka dots!
These are actually really cute! I feel like maternity get butchered when it comes to styling.
