It’s Friday the 13th! Have you seen this – Friday the 13th: Jason Take Manhattan? Hilarious. Spoiler alert: Jason turns into a little kid, thanks to the special sewers of New York City.
Let’s do this.
What’s Making Me Happy This Week:
5. KE$HA. The Wife and I headed to the LA County Fair last Saturday to catch the one, the only… Ke$ha. I mean, come on. Seriously, I thought she put on a fun show on a tiny stage on the dirt of a race track in Pomona. Sidenote: her dancers were really ripped.
4. Lunch by myself. That is all. It’s just nice.

Lunch.
3. Hello Kitty Bobblehead Night – Dodgers. Another one for my collection! This makes me happy.

2. Star Trek: The Exhibition at the LA County Fair. Thank you, Wife, for letting me know about this via the KTLA Morning News. It’s an extra $5 admission fee to get into the exhibit. Since I’m headed to the fair (again) today, I may just have to do this!!
For my 20-something birthday, The Wife (not yet dating or known as The Wife yet) and many of our mutual friends surprised me with a trip to Las Vegas. I got to see the Star Trek exhibit at the LV Hilton when it was still there.
I hope there is some new stuff at this one!

1. This. This makes me happy. If you haven’t seen it, you should. It’s a pull from Upworthy via ABC’s What Would You Do? show. I hate hidden camera shows, but I will give this video a pass.
It’s heartening to see people stand up to this [plant] kid. I teared up. (F*ck I’m old. Next you’ll see me crying watching a video of a marriage proposal at Home Depot… oh wait… I did. Thanks a lot, AJ.)
So… tell me… what is making YOU happy this week??Â
Awww, I have a soft spot for Hello Kitty! Are you jones-ing for a Magic Johnson Bobblehead next? Or is it just the Hello Kitty stuff (like me–saw a Mini Cooper all Hello-Kitty’d out; talk about drool!)
I missed the Magic Johnson bobblehead!
You do. You and your fun look at life make me happy! Thanks!
Fun stuff. Especially like that clip from what would you do – good to see not just the soldier (which was awesome) but other people standing up for a Muslim getting harassed, even if it was staged.
Lunch out alone — LOVE it. (Is that Panera? Fave of mine.)
Yes it’s Panera – good eye!
You’re welcome. 😉
Whoa Ke$ha’s stage looks fun! I love lunch by myself. Adding that to future blog post to-do list! Happy Friday woman!
I’d invite myself to your lunch if you went to grab ramen or udon… but yes, solo lunches… a must do.
