Disclosure: I received a BumpBox for the purposes of this review, which is my own honest opinion.
As you know, outside of my gestational diabetes, my pregnancy was awesome. I loved every minute of it. Looking back, I was totally a newbie. Through trial and error, I found some amazing products and clothes for pregnancy. But what if there was a service that sent you a box of goodies that were natural and safe for you and baby? What if you didn’t have to go shopping and waddle your way through the aisles to search for stuff like formaldehyde-free nail polish or a massage ball?
Enter the team at BumpBoxes!
I received a Be Pampered box which was filled with quite a few products I hadn’t heard of. Being as chemical-free as possible was and still is a goal of mine. Anything I ingest or put on my skin, it can rub off on Spawn.
My Pampered box contained:
- Deep Steep Peppermint Foot Cream
- Ecco Bella lip gloss
- Ecco Bella mascara
- 7th Heaven face mud mask
- Earth Therapeutics Accupressure Body Massager
- Aura Cacia lavender oat and milk bath
- Knocked Up nail polish in Tickled Pink
The makeup was great. I’ve never heard of Ecco Bella or Knocked Up (haha!), so it’s great that BumpBox has introduced me to these lines. I put the mask on while brushing my teeth and right before showering. It was a nice trial, and I might pick this up on its own via Amazon. (You can also buy everything a la carte on the BumpBox site. This is helpful if you want to see other products that were placed in other BumpBoxes.)
Bump In or Bump Out?
Personally I’d love to have received one box per month during my pregnancy. There are nine themes to choose from. Each box is customized for you and your pregnancy journey. The products are vetted to be pregnancy and baby safe and non-toxic.
You can gift a box or box subscription to an expectant mama, or you can buy a box a la carte. I looked at the Be Nurturing box and it came with lactation cookies, breastmilk bags, nipple cream and other products I’d totally use as a new mom. Especially during that first couple of months. The Be Well box would be perfect for Melissa who is experiencing some nausea.
If all these full size products in a box are too expensive for you ($40-60 per month), you can still subscribe to their premium samples box(es) instead. That starts at $10 per month.
Thank you to the BumpBoxes team for sending me a Be Pampered box to try out and review. A couple of friends are TTC, and this is something I’d definitely consider gifting to them!
