9.12.11 – Our last day in Portland. We flew Southwest back home, and it was wonderful to have a row to ourselves! When we got back, we took a cab back home – they finally have credit card machines installed. (Maybe I’ve been living under a cave for years but to my knowledge, LA taxis had put these in recently.)

9.13.11 – Nothing today. I went back to work; business as usual.
9.14.11 – My cw and I took a break and walked to the Santa Monica Farmers Market where we found baby purple artichokes!

9.15.11 – Nothing.
9.16.11 – I finished the first bag of Kona coffee that I brought back from the Big Island. It was time to start a new bag of beans! This time, the beans were roasted by Stumptown in Portland. Yum! I also spent the evening with my best friends at a new place called Bun Bun Tea House in Arcadia.

9.17.11 – Missed one.
9.18.11 – I went for a run with my new Nike running shoes. Look how pretty! (It was also my failed run day.)
