WIRI: Web Design Frustration

I spent the entire day playing with html code in Dreamweaver; FTPing the crap out of the style.css; and still not satisfied by the results. I think I was in the wrong career in the first place. I should have studied web design so I didn’t have to waste so much time trying to remember code yesterday!

But at least I now know what Dreamweaver is good for. Ha! It took me hours to realize that I could use Dreamweaver to FTP!

Then I couldn’t remember what add-on tool Firefox offered to showcase the colors (in HTML) of a website. That would have helped tremendously. Or was it Firefox? Should I have used Safari? A former intern once told me there was a add-on (on Firefox) where you could see the code of a page and futz with it to re-design it. (Note to self: Must tweet her for the info…)

The other thing I discovered is that using Chrome as a web browser really messes up my Macbook. The fan and/or hard drive makes a ton of noise constantly. WTF.
