This was the week before my birthday as well as our trip to Las Vegas for a family wedding. Fun fun fun!
9.19.11 – I’ve been have some fun taking pictures of our office mascot, Gnomey, around town. This one was for scale.

9.21.11 – When I was a kid, my mom used to make me a Horlicks drink. I found a giant bottle of it at Hong Kong Supermarket, but it’s not the same. (Sidenote: Did you know that HK Supermarket used to be the city’s roller rink? It was awesome.)

9.22.11 – I spent the morning at Coupa Cafe in Beverly Hills to support my SMCLA Board President at her SMWLA/SMBLA event. If you know me, you know it takes a mountain to move me to drive out to Beverly Hills.

9.24.11 – We headed to Las Vegas for a family wedding, but not before visiting the Outlet Stores at Stateline. Who shops here?!!??

9.25.11 – Before we got ready for the wedding, we stopped in at the Silverton Casino to check out the aquarium. I had the opportunity to ask the diver if they also breed their rays; in a sense, yes. They keep stingrays in different rotation in the back. If you get a chance to head to Vegas, drive down to the Silverton Casino and check out the giant aquarium. Feedings are hourly, so you can watch and ask questions as their diver jumps in with the fishes!
