You know I’ve written about my love for argan oil. Now that Spawn is here, I try to keep even my skin products as natural as possible. (She touches my face a lot and then eats her hand.) I just learned about Pura d’or Argan Oil and took it for a test drive.
Pura d’or Argan Oil Review
The first thing I noticed was the size of this bottle – I received a 4-ounce bottle. A little goes a long way and this bottle is sure to last for a very long time. I’m thinking, at least six months. The consistency is on the lighter side of argan oil. If you’re used to another leading brand, Pura d’or’s oil is less heavy.
There’s also a scent to it. That took a little bit of getting used to as I’m not a fan of any scent. (Except baby smell!!) I pumped twice and was able to cover my face and my super dry elbows. I don’t know about you new moms, but ever since Spawn was born, my elbows dry and crack 24/7.
You could probably get away with just one pump of argan oil here, but I use the “leftover” for my elbows and sometimes my hair. (WTF is up with new mom hair being so dang dry?)
I’m impressed that the argan oil gets absorbed quickly. It’s also been helping my elbows heal. (I’ve been using it twice daily, sometimes more when I remember.)
