Do you ever sit down and look back on the last 12 months and wonder “where did the time go?” I felt out of control last year – and this year, I didn’t want to feel like that anymore. Additionally, I felt I was out of focus in my professional life as well as personal life. That old notion of being mom as all-consuming? It’s not a notion. It has taken real, conscious effort to carve out time for myself.

I feel like a broken record but I truly am a fan of PowerSheets by Lara Casey/Cultivate What Matters. I learned about these from Melissa and Libby, when I asked around about goal-setting. They love them, and I decided to start with their six-month undated worksheets. Lemme tell you, the six month workbook was the gateway drug. I’m in for the full year workbook!
If you’re not familiar, PowerSheets are set up so that you jot down goals, things that worked last year/month, things that didn’t work, monthly/weekly/daily tasks, self lists and so on. They were created to help jog your brain and put things on paper and to work those goals. You can use this as a guide for your business(es) and personal life like me.
They’re intended for you use to keep yourself accountable and to be intentional and present. You can buy the cute stickers and write in colorful pens, or scribble like I did. Do what you have to to get the words on paper. The theme is “progress not perfection.”
At the risk of sounding hokey, PowerSheets have kept me humble about family goals and personal growth and less fearful about sharing my side business with my network.
Get Them
The new 2017 PowerSheets go up on the website for preorder on November 1, 2016 at 7am PST! I will be awake – thanks to Toddler Spawn – and will push the button BUY as soon as I can.
If you want your own set of PowerSheets, get to it! According to one of the team’s live FB videos, the full set of PowerSheets (for the year) sold out in about a week! They’ll be shipped out in late November so you’ll have plenty of time to get started on digging deep and writing out your goals and ambitions for next year.

Will you join me in the PowerSheets gang? Do you have goals you’ve been wanting to hit and just haven’t gotten there? Consider ordering your workbook and get started!

I’m in the middle of reading Lara Casey’s “Make it Happen”. I’ll have to check this out. It sounds great!
I love this! I’d love to add something like this to my planner!
I so need to get organized better. Right now I have a calendar and a note pade
I have to admit – I’m totally intrigued because this is what I struggle with the most!
I live between my phone, outlook calendar, and a google spreadsheet to keep me on time and in the right place. Nothing works perfectly so I have all 3. This may simplify my life! I will browse at them a bit more to consider joining you!
Seriously! I do all of those things! The PowerSheets are here to lead you – Lara Casey was adamant when she said they’re not a “planner” per se. Even she uses Emily Ley’s Planner Notebook for that. LOL! So, even the CEO uses multiple notebooks for her goals!
I hope you’ll jump in! (Check out Youtube for other folks’ ways to use their PowerSheets. It may help to look at how other “systems.”) Please check back soon!
I signed up for the 6-month ones this last summer, and although I’ve been a little busy–they are so great! I will be buying the 2017 one shortly as well.
Yay!! Excited to see where 2017 will take you!
