Late but not forgotten!
Here we go, this week’s Friday Five contains links to stuff that won the internet, in my opinion.
Friday Five: Who Won The Internet
5. My colleague Justin created a Tumblr blog called Not Getting the Job. I wanted him to call it WTFJobseeker, but he’s classy that way.
4. My pal Melissa (The Valentine RD) completed her ultimate goal of meeting SIMON FREAKING LEBON of Duran Duran. Thankfully, she has other life goals and won’t drop dead from happiness. (For those of who you don’t know who Duran Duran is, no. Just no. Step away.)
3. I’m a huge RENThead and Firefly (Whedon) fan, and this is awesommmmmmmmme. Jesse L Martin sings the Serenity theme song!! According to this Pajiba article, Joss Whedon contributed a nice amount to Jesse L. Martin’s Kickstarter and this is what he got in return. Whedon’s gain is OUR gain. Thank you, Joss Whedon!
2. So The Walking Dead season finale was last Sunday. It was pretty good. Spoiler alert: I thought someone in the main cast would die. Or three. Nope. Not even one. Game of Thrones author George RR Martin weighed in. He wins.

Last but not least…. 1. The Wife just sent this to me: GUSTER + KE$SHA. This is fantastic. Guster is my favorite band ever, and Ryan told this story about being friends with Ke$ha years ago and trying to get her to guest-sing at a concert we were at. It finally came true. (And we weren’t there live.) Doesn’t matter. Still fun!
But wait, there’s more. She performs with HAIM (if you like them). You have to hand it to her – Ke$ha is just FUN! Watch THIS! (This is the “pro” version of the Guster video.)
Last night I performed with my besties HAIM AND my childhood favorite band Guster!!!

And now we’ll never miss another Guster show.
Didn’t know you were a Guster fan. Saw them open for BNL (they were great).
I’m not dead of happiness yet but there’s still time…..
Thank you for including me in this round-up. I’m still reeling. Insanely ridiculously thrilled. It was everything a person who meets someone they admire should be like. He was nice, funny, gracious and warm.
It was a dream come true for sure. Thank goodness for bold (and well connected) friends and the power of alcohol! I’m not shy but I had major fangirl paralysis that were only lessened by liquid courage.
The Le Bon hangover continues and I’m not sure I want it to ever go away. I will stop gushing now.
Thank you again for the love!
