When I attended #FitBlogLA hosted by Fitness Magazine, the team at Dermalogica was out in force, sharing their skincare products and recommendations to attendees. I brought home travel-size Dermalogica skin care products to review, and I’ve got nothing but gold stars for them!
My Dermalogica travel kit bag included two of my new favorite products – the Special Cleanser Gel and the Precleanse.  I used to #sideeye cleansing oils. I mean, why would you rub oil on your face to remove makeup? It made no sense to me. But… I’m a convert now.
The Precleanse is a deep-cleansing oil – I shake a few drops of oil in the palm of my hand, rub on to both hands, and then rub it on my face.

Repeat after me: Cleansing Oils are the bomb!
It melts away almost all of my eye makeup and the rest of my face. I leave it there while I brush my teeth. Then I rinse my face off with water.
My next step is to take a drop (ONE DROP) of the Special Cleanser Gel, foam it up and put that on my face. Sometimes I might foam up and rinse twice (that’d be two drops). Give it a go, and voila! Clean skin!
The other bonus I wanted to point out besides giving me clear, clean skin is that my TRIAL-SIZED bottles (about 1.7 ounces each) have lasted me well over three months. This is my night-time ritual to remove all makeup before heading to bed. I took my little bottles to TECHMUNCH as well as our Babymoon. I’m just about finished with both bottles now.
You can use their store locator to find retailers that are authorized to sell Dermalogica. If you’re an LA local, there’s a store on Montana in Santa Monica. It also looks like Ulta sells Dermalogica!
So if you just want to try out Dermalogica, save your cash and buy the trial/small sizes. A little goes a long way and why waste money when you don’t need to?
Disclosure: I was given product for trial with no expectation of a review. The above is my honest opinion. Post contains affiliate links.
I LOVE Dermalogica! I haven’t tried the precleanser, but I use the special cleansing gel, toner, moisturizer, overnight clearing gel, the powder exfoliator, and one of the eye creams. So yeah… I’m a fan. :p
Wow! Where do you buy your products? Do you go to the store or do you shop online?
I buy them at Ulta because it’s close to my house and they usually have some kind of special offer. Like, spend $55 and get a free travel set or something like that.
