If you’ve been reading my blog or following me on Instagram, you’ll have seen my posts about Clarks Cloudsteppers. I met the marketing team at the SHAPE Meet and Tweet blogger event and was gifted a pair of Sillian Jetay shoes.
Clarks Cloudsteppers – Freakishly Lightweight
These are, by far, the lightest shoe I’ve ever worn, and that’s why I wanted to share my experience with them. They are freakshow-worthy. Like, I can’t even tell you how lightweight they are. I was at a random store a couple weeks ago, and the sales person complimented my Cloudsteppers. I pulled them off so she could try them on. I don’t think she believed me when I told her they were so freaking lightweight until I handed them over to her.
Since owning this pair, I’ve walked up and down the hills of San Francisco with them. I’ve trekked all over OC with them. I’ve carried Toddler Spawn with me. I have just gone about my day with these guys. Here I am at some random person’s doorstep.
I never thought I’d be a Clarks shoe person. But seeing these in person at the event changed my mind. Lucky for everyone there, the Clarks team gave away a gift card to each attendee so they could purchase any shoe of their choice. I gave mine away to a mom in need. Plus the team already gifted my free pair at the event!
I’m usually a size 7 but I wear a 7.5 in these shoes. There is elastic around the heel, and that helps to keep the shoe snug on you. The inside of the shoe is jersey cotton! You may need to break them in in the achilles heel. I had some rubbing after 12 hours of walking around the Haight area in SF. While I did walk up and down those hills, I would not recommend doing that again in these shoes. I would have worn my athletic shoes instead for better grip. That’s just me.
So what do you say?
Will you join my Cloudsteppin’ army?
Special thanks to the Clarks team who gifted me a pair of these X-men mutant lightweight shoes. I am telling you. You’ve never worn something this light before. (Ballet shoes don’t count, sarcastic friends.)
