Cents of Style – One Swing Dress to Rule Them All

Today, I got dressed up, thanks to Cents of Style. I wanted to show off their Friday Find item, the Remi Swing Dress! In LA, the weather doesn’t get too cold too often. This long sleeved, midi-length dress is ideal for LA autumns! It’s lightweight, layer-able, and inexpensive. I’m considering picking up another one in teal.

Basically, it’s a MacGyver dress. That means, you should probably get one. Especially TODAY because yo – sale!!

I styled my dress with a couple of different accessories. I kept the waist loose but you can cinch it with a wide belt or sash. Um, hi, have you met me? Post-baby rolls can be hidden by this awesome dress. So already, it’s winning.

Alas, some people deal with frigid office spaces. Do you need to prevent nipplegate? I also paired the dress with one of my favorite scarves. I’d also pair this with opaque tights, but dang, people, it’s like 90-F.

As you can see, the Remi Swing Dress is a longer dress for me. I’m 5’3″ and it hits me past the knees. I’m wearing a Large here. I think I could get away with a medium, which would shorten the sleeves and skirt a little bit. It has a ton of room – you can wear this as a maternity dress!

I can’t help but remind you that this is a very lightweight dress! We’re celebrating The Wife’s birthday early, and I’ll be wearing this on our date night.
