1.15.11 – FTH and I were invited to a poker night at his college friend’s home. I was winning in the beginning rounds, and then I lost. We brought dessert from Porto’s.

1.17.11 – I was taking a walk to Whole Foods in Santa Monica for lunch and saw a very crowded ice rink. I can’t imagine skating on ice in 80-degree weather. Must been like skating on rubber.

1.18.11 – Again at lunchtime, walking around and ending up at Whole Foods. I walked past this building and realized it was the Santa Monica Bay Women’s Club. Who knew?

1.19.11 – Traffic was a bear that day and I immediately took surface streets to get across town. (My daily commute to work is usually 1 hour – 1.5 hours, one-way. If it looks like it’s going to take an extra 20 mins, I hit the streets.) On Adams, I was at a stop light and this murals caught my eye.

These are my colors: Sally, Dea, and Pasha. The verdict: Pasha is currently my favorite. Dea is a little too brown/orange for me but ok for my toes. Sally is very similar to a color I have by Essie.

1.21.11 – I had a very early client meeting in Long Beach, and we met the client at Polly’s Pies! I’ve never been to this location before; what a treat.

1.22.11 – Well, you’ve already seen my GUSTER post. *drool* So here’s a photo of what we did BEFORE the show. Jenn, FTH, and I headed to Gallery 1988 on Melrose and La Brea to check out the current exhibit “Is This Thing On?” (a look at comedians).

1.23.11 – Driving down the 5, on our way to have dinner with FTH’s parents, we noticed the colors against the LA skyline. As you can see, the Evo definitely has a very slow shutterspeed. But you can see the colors of the sunset, right?
