Mel was gracious enough to invite us to a taping of THE SOUP with Joel McHale this past Thursday! It’s a small stage that he is in, and he’s basically in front of a green screen the whole time. FTH and I were excited to see that Aaron Paul was there as a guest … with his EMMY! (Y’all need to watch Breaking Bad if you’re not.)
After the taping, Joel McHale said he’d stay to take photos. Yay! You KNOW I’m totally staying for THAT!
We were almost the last group to say hello to him, and after he shook FTH’s hand, he put his hand out to me, and I kind of scoffed at his hand and said,”OH NO, I want a hug…” and walked right into him. Hahaha! He asked FTH if I was his girlfriend and FTH showed him his wedding ring. Bwahaha!
Jen took our photo and I thanked him for the hug. AND THEN, he pulled me in for another hug and said “Oh one more.” And Jen took THIS photo as a result. Thanks, Jen!

So, for the record, HE hugged ME. I’m not sure I’ll bathe again. Kidding. He was very nice; I asked for an autograph/note for Eric, and he graciously obliged.
