Today, we spent the afternoon celebrating T’s 43rd birthday at Castle Park. Castle Park, if you don’t know, is a batting cage/arcade/mini-golf center in the Valley. It’s the closest mini golf place near us, and I hadn’t been back since, oh, 2002 or so. I even got a hole-in-one today! Hurrah! (T got two hole-in-ones, and his wife J got one too!) After mini golf, we headed to the arcade. FTH and I picked up the big fake machine guns and shot at Terminators. That was so much fun! Sometimes I think I would have made a good shooter. So here’s to old school mini golf and fun arcade games.
- mini golf and first-person shooters
- White House Black Market – bought a new swimsuit for 2010 – hurrah!
- Clarins counter at Macy’s – I put some sunscreen on my hands before heading out to mini golf
- new fashion blogs on my reader
- The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo – audiobook – OMG I am so into this now. I’ll be buying the book itself because I can’t wait for my commute to listen to it. I must read it too.
- a potential new client
- my new ‘business’ purse – bigger, sturdier, and classier
- running – I didn’t run enough this week – Sun, Tues, Sat, but when I do, I so appreciate the ‘zone’
- Breaking Bad
- Groupon
